Obituary for Carol Mae Skinner (Skinner)

Carol Mae Skinner, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014. She was 73.

Born in Empire, Ohio, December 20, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Oral O. “Pat” Skinner Hawkingberry. She lived all her life in this area where she worked as a housekeeper.

She is survived by a sister, Sara Watkins, and her husband Roy, of Grafton, West Virginia, and four brothers, John Hawkingberry, and his wife Lisa, of Tennessee, David Hawkingberry, and his wife Betty, of Newell, Bruce Hawkingberry of East Liverpool, and Tom Hawkingberry, and his wife Lori, of California.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Mary Bost, two sisters-in-law, Julie Ann Hawkingberry and Kathy Hawkingberry, as well as a great-niece Savanna Ward.

Services were held at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial was at Spring Grove Cemetery.
