The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Raymond Tubbs can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Teachable moments

To the family of Dr. Raymond R. Tubbs-

It was a privilege and experience to have been Dr. Tubbs's administrative assistant for several years. Through Dr. Tubbs, I learned the importance of urgency and diligence. Through Dr. Tubbs I learned patience, forgiveness and acceptance. Often times, it isn't until a person is no longer around that you begin to reflect upon and understand how their presence impacted your life. Although Dr. Tubbs was a very private man, it wasn’t hard to see he was very dedicated and devoted to both his family and work.

Dr. Tubbs was a very important person and force in the world of medicine. I witnessed this first hand during a time when a company wanted to collaborate with Dr. Tubbs. The company’s top executives did any and everything in their power to accommodate his busy schedule. One company rep was ecstatic just knowing Dr. Tubbs agreed to speak with them for five minutes short minutes, and when he agreed to set up a formal meeting,  that meant so much more. It was amazing to see the impact Dr. Tubbs reputation had on others in the business.

Dr. Tubbs was a hardworking man and gave his absolute all. Now he can finally rest, for his work on earth has been completed and the last chapter in his life has been written.

May you all find peace and comfort during this difficult time and continue to carry on the legacy of your husband, father, and grandfather.

Respectfully yours
