Obituary for Gwen A. Blake (Blake)

Gwen A. Blake, of Ohio Avenue, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was 23.

Born in East Liverpool, January 2, 1991, she was a daughter of Kathleen and Gary Lee Blake, Jr. of East Liverpool. A resident of this area all her life, she worked at the Adkins Care Center. Previously, she worked at Subway in Newell.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three children, Alexandrea Randolph, Aubrey Randolph and Harmony Randolph as well as her fiancé Matthew D. Randolph at home.

There is a sister, Ali Blake, as well as four brothers, Gary Blake III, and his wife Megan, Axl E. Blake, and his companion Angie Gunselman, Ryan Blake and John Blake, all of East Liverpool. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Nancy Kirbaugh, and her husband Keith, of East Liverpool.

She was a loving “Aunt Nem” to her two nieces, Hailie and Kindra Blake, and also leaves nieces and nephews Alexis, Brianna and Myah Randolph, Makayla Ingram, Caden Randolph, Austin Valentine, Gage and Grace Gillespie, and Karis Conkle.

She will also be sadly missed by her aunts, Lydia Garwood, Nannette Carter, and her husband Chuck, and Ninette Burke, and her husband Todd, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Carl and Catherine Norris, and her paternal grandfather, Gary Lee Blake.

Friends may visit Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 3 to 8 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Moose Lodge for fellowship.
