She was a member of Longs Run Presbyterian Church where she was active in the food bank and helped in the kitchen. She was also an avid bowler and played on several leagues at Tri-State Lanes.

Sandy possessed a charming positive attitude for living, loved trips to the beach and never quit listening to Rock and Roll from the 50s and 60s. In 1992, she was the recipient of a heart transplant. She cherished the gift of life that had been given to her and valued every moment spent with friends and family.

Her husband survives, Terry Ray Cross, whom she married April 22, 1987. She will be sadly missed by her children, Emily Braslawsce, and her husband Erik, of Calcutta, Judith Parrish, and her husband Raymond, of Herndon, Virginia, David Wynn, and his wife Annie, of Leetonia, Terry Cross II, and his wife Cindy, of East Liverpool, Carrie Cross of Clinton, Pennsylvania, and Jessy Cross of East Liverpool.
