Condolences

Condolence From: Andrew Toothman
Condolence: I used to be Ila's caregiver. As I got to know the more I respected her and her contributions to the community. She further supported me in becoming a Freemason and I wouldn't be the man today if it wasn't for her. Her words of wisdom will further guide me through my trials in life. She has benifited me and my family, and I will forever thank her for it. My condolences to the family. I wish I could be there.

Condolence From: Amy Hissom-Daugherty
Condolence: Very saddened by the news of Ila's passing. She was one of the best high school teachers I ever had! Mrs. Shingler will be truly missed by many and I'm quite sure she will never be forgotten. She was one of the most loving people I've ever known, especially when it came to the elderly. I worked in many nursing homes after high school and one of the most important things she taught me, that will stay in my mind forever, is that when taking care of those that are older, always address them by Mr. or Mrs regardless of their condition because they deserve that respect. She taught us that everyone has a story and regardless of age, we are all someone's little girl or boy. God Bless you, Ila! The world lost another great asset when we lost you yesterday! RIP Sending lots of prayers for the family!
