Obituary for Judith L. Perkins (Perkins)

Judith L. “Judy” Perkins, of McCoy Avenue, passed away suddenly Friday evening, August 8, 2014 at the East Liverpool City Hospital Emergency Room. She was 68.

Born in East Liverpool, December 11, 1945, she was a daughter of the late James and Dorothy Fetty Perkins. A lifetime resident of the area, she worked at the Homer Laughlin China Company for many years. Previously, she worked as a baker at Adrian’s Restaurant.

A member of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ, she was a graduate of East Liverpool High School.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy A. Palmer, and her husband J.R., of East Liverpool, and Carol L. Beaver, and her fiancé Mike McKenna, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, along with a granddaughter, MacKenzie Palmer.

There are three sisters, Carol McCune of East Liverpool, Jackie Hardy of Columbus, and Barbara Reynolds of East Liverpool, as well as two brothers, James Perkins, and his wife Sandra, of Youngstown and Richard Perkins, and his wife Sandra, of East Liverpool.

Friends may visit Wednesday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
