Obituary for Anna H. Waite (Joseph)
Anna H. Waite, formerly of Sanford Street, passed away Monday evening, August 11, 2014 at 6:40 p.m. at Blossom Nursing Home in Salem. She was 92.
Born in Wellsville, May 18, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Abdo and Adele Naser Joseph. A lifetime resident of the area, Anna was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
Anna is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Beresford, and her husband Kevin, of East Liverpool. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Jayna, Tyler and Anthony Waite, and Joey Beresford. along with a great-grandson, Maddox Beresford
.
Her husband, Richard L. Waite, whom she married on June 23, 1952, died on February 24, 2003. Anna was also preceded by a son, Richard Kim Waite, two sisters, Josephine Koontz, Nellie Joseph and three brothers, John, Joe and George Joseph.
Friends may visit Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Fr. Peter Haladej of the church will conduct a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery in Wellsville.
Following the burial, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
