Obituary for Shirley Marie Kinsey (Wilson)

Shirley Marie “Sue” Kinsey, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday morning, September 19, 2014 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville. She was 78.

Born in East Liverpool, September 2, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Francis Marion and Gertrude Sowers Wilson. A lifetime resident of the area, she worked at Bell Research in Chester, Townsend and Bottum and the Shippingport Power Station. She also operated Sue’s Daycare for many years and was active with the Community Resource Center.

She attended the Grace Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a son, Dennis Kinsey, PhD., and his wife Christiane Pagé, of Syracuse, New York. There are six grandchildren, Wyatt, Penelope, Charlotte, Eloise, Isabelle and Bruno.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Kinsey.

Friends may visit Monday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
