Obituary for Raymond Glen Campbell

EAST LIVERPOOL, OH – Raymond Glen Campbell of Samuel St., passed away at the age of 59 on Thursday December 25, 2014 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

A son of Raymond George Campbell of East Liverpool, and the late Doris Hoyt Campbell, he was born in East Liverpool on April 25, 1955.

Ray was an avid builder and collector of model cars and a 1973 graduate of East Liverpool High School. He had worked at Shasta Steel in Alliquippa at one time.

Ray loved cats and would rescue strays wherever they would be.

Ray is survived at home by his wife Suzanne Colbert Campbell, who he married on February 9, 1985, and his son Raymond Geoffrey Campbell, of East Liverpool.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The Rev. Norm Eckert of the Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Family and friends will then gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
