Obituary for Kevin E. Hubert

Kevin Eugene Hubert, 51, passed away at his home on Harvey Avenue in East Liverpool early Monday morning, April 6, 2015. Born in New Kensington, PA, on February 26, 1964, he was a son of the late John C. and Myrtle Elizabeth Hutchison Hubert.

Kevin had served his country in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He had made his home in this area for the past 25 years, and had worked various construction and roofing jobs, primarily for Rex Mays and Hissom Roofing.

Surviving him is his longtime companion, Renee Byers, of East Liverpool, along with her children whom he raised: Nicole Byers, at home; Jennifer Byers of Salem; and Thane Byers, also of East Liverpool.

Kevin is also survived by his siblings: Dennis Hubert and his wife, Shirley; Kenneth Hubert and his wife, Dania; Marlene Hubert Shirey and her husband, Douglas; Robert Hubert and his wife, Rebecca; Barbara Hubert Grimm and her companion, Dominick Bertetto; Mark Hubert and his wife, Amy; and Lori Hubert Henry and her husband, Donald; and Winfield “Butch” Hubert, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his sister, Carrie Hubert, brother John Hubert and sister, Tina Hubert, as well as a nephew, Brandon Michael Barr.

Arrangements are being handled by the Dawson Funeral Home. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
