Obituary for Kimberly Cooke Geisse (White)

EAST LIVERPOOL – Kimberly Cooke Geisse, of Oakwood Street, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at her home following a 14 month illness. She was 56.

Born in East Liverpool, July 6, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Mary White Cooke. A resident of this area all her life, she worked at the Mountaineer Resort as a revenue auditor.

She leaves behind her husband, Jeffrey A. Geisse, at home. The couple married February 14, 1986. Together, they loved to ride their motorcycle, taking many trips across the country and spending time with friends. A daughter survives as well, Sara Geisse, and her companion Mark Schondelmayer and his daughter Taelor Shaffer, of Glenmoor. Kim will also be sadly missed by her dogs, Gemma and Tiggy.

Her brother also survives Ronald Cooke, and his wife Marilyn, of LaCroft.

Friends may visit Monday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rev’d Steven McKeown will conduct a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at Dave and Deb’s on Lisbon Street for fellowship and continued remembrance.
