Obituary for James Patrick Morrison

JAMES PATRICK “PAT” MORRISON, 59

LISBON – James “Pat” Morrison, died suddenly at his home in Lisbon on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, following a brief illness. Pat, who was 59, had worked as recently as Tuesday.

A son of Mary Louise Bahen Morrison of East Liverpool and the late James Carl Morrison, he was born on May 1, 1956 in East Liverpool.

He was a 1975 graduate of East Liverpool High School and had been an independent truck driver for many years. When he wasn’t driving his truck, he was riding his motorcycle, and loved being outdoors.

In addition to his mother, Pat is survived by two sisters, Janet Jackson of Midland, PA, and Julie Morrison of East Liverpool, along with two brothers, Frank Morrison of Newell, WV, and Thomas Morrison and his companion, Lola Stewart, of Bucyrus, OH. He was preceded in death on October 9, 2009 by a sister, Debra A. “Debbie” Morrison.

He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his canine companion, “Lucky”.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Monday, where the family will be present from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.

Rev. Ernest Peachey of the Second Baptist Church will conduct services to be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
