Obituary for Rebecca A. Christen (Christen)

EAST LIVERPOOL – Rebecca A. “Becky” Christen, of Longs Church Road, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the East Liverpool City Hospital. She was 19.

Born in East Liverpool, May 19, 1996, she was a daughter of Robert J. and Barbara Jarvis Christen. She lived in this area all her life and was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Robert Christen, III of Minnesota; Jason Christen of East Liverpool; and Michael Buchheit of Wellsville; as well as a maternal grandmother Barbara Jarvis of East Liverpool; paternal grandmother Ann Christen of East Liverpool; paternal grandfather Robert Christen, Sr. of Wellsville; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge Becky’s caregivers from Home Care With Heart.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Harry Jarvis, and her paternal great-grandmother Dolly Cook.

Friends may visit Thursday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Fr. Peter Haladej of Holy Trinity Parish will conduct a funeral service Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
