Obituary for Stephen E House

STEPHEN E. “STEVE” HOUSE, 44

EAST LIVERPOOL - Lifetime area resident Stephen E. “Steve” House, 44, passed away accidentally early Saturday morning, January 2, 2016.

He was the beloved son of Edward and Diana “Dee” Nolan House, born on November 1, 1971 in East Liverpool, and remained here the rest of his life.

A 1990 graduate of East Liverpool High School, he had worked at FedEx and also at Rent-A-Center in Calcutta for many years. In October, he became store manager at the downtown East Liverpool Rite Aid, a job which he loved because of his co-workers and the people he had met there. He was looking forward to making it his career.

When he wasn’t working, he was spending time with his family and was a devoted dad, son, brother, and friend. He loved music and sports, especially the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.

In addition to his parents of East Liverpool, he is survived by his wife, Colleen Gill House. He also leaves behind his two sons, Alex and Jacob, of whom he was extremely proud.

Also surviving is his sister, Jennifer Ramsey and her husband, Bill, of East Liverpool, and his in-laws, Tom and Judy Gill, also of East Liverpool. There are three sisters-in-law: Amy Gill, Michelle Higgins and her husband, John, and Erin Loedding and her husband, Brian, as well as special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Monday. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
