Barbara F. “Maggie” McKenzie, 71

EAST LIVERPOOL - Barbara F. “Maggie” McKenzie, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday evening, January 7, 2016 at home following a brief illness. She was 71.

Born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, June 18, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Jean and John Simon. She lived in this area most of her life and worked at the Modern Glass Company at one time.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Richard McKenzie, Sr. and two sons, William J. “Bill” McKenzie and Robert McKenzie.

Survivors include three daughters: Lisa McKenzie and her companion, Walter, of California, Diana Collins and her husband, Paul, of East Liverpool, and Judy Miller of East Liverpool, as well as a son, Frank R. McKenzie, Jr. and his companion, Jack, of East Liverpool. She also leaves behind her significant other, John McNulty of East Liverpool, two sisters, Patty Wyke of Chester, and Sandy Hinlojosh of California, and 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Calcutta Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted and completed by the Dawson Funeral Home.
