HAZEL M. HECKATHORNE CANNON, 80

EAST LIVERPOOL – Hazel M. Heckathorne Cannon, longtime owner and operator of the former Dresden Avenue Dairy Queen, passed away at the East Liverpool City Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 80.

Her son, Jerry Cannon, and his wife, Wendy, survive in East Liverpool. There are three grandchildren: Greg, Katie and Marc. Hazel also leaves behind a brother, George Heckathorne, and his wife, Helen, along with several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were two brothers, Charles Heckathorne and Gerald Heckathorne.
