LISBON, OH – Norma Jean Mason, of East Liverpool, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at the Vista Center in Lisbon following a several month long illness. She was 88.

Born in Wooster, Ohio, September 30, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Carl Hathaway and Pauline Mable Emmerling Kevan. A member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, she lived most of her life in East Liverpool and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mason, on March 15, 1987. The couple married December 6, 1952. Two sisters also preceded her in death, Martha Burlingame and Loetta Galloway.

A daughter survives, Marty Jean Murray and her husband, Timothy, of Lisbon, as well as 2 grandchildren: Jeanna Murray and Jamie Murray, both of La Pointe, Wisconsin.

Friends may visit Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. Dr. Stephen Cramer will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
