Obituary for Alice Mae Giralico (Wagner)

ALICE MAE GIRALICO, 90

NEGLEY – Alice Mae (Wagner) Giralico, 90, of Negley, passed on to eternal life at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday evening, September 23, 2016.

She was born in East Liverpool on January 28, 1926 to Henry and Marie Moore Wagner, where she grew up and attended school. Alice was married to Jack Giralico, Jr. of Midland, PA and had five children, retiring to Negley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, as well as a son, Henry, her brothers Will, Fred, and Robert Wagner, and her sister, Agnes Wagner.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Renae Bailey, who was her caregiver, and Marie Robbins and her husband, Steve, of Palmyra, IN. There are two sons, Jack Giralico III and his wife, Cheri, of Cape Coral, FL, and Tony Giralico of Negley, along with a brother, Raymond Wagner and his wife, Carolyn, of Boardman.

There are 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Alice also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Joanne “Doll” Giralico of Hammondsville, and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Wagner, of Calcutta.

Alice was a lifelong Methodist, a member of the Order of Eastern Star in West Point, KY, and the Order Amaranth. She loved music and cooking and adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchild.

Friends may visit from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the Dawson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Evangelist Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ officiating.

Alice will be buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Industry.
