RONALD L. BROWN, SR., 66

EAST LIVERPOOL – Erie Street resident Ronald L. Brown, Sr. passed away at Calcutta Health Care Center at 3:16 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016. He was 66.

Born June 14, 1950 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Dorthy Brown and Robert Hatten, Sr.

Ron was a 1968 graduate of Westinghouse High School. He was the owner of B&D Construction Company in East Liverpool, and had worked in home remodeling in the area for many years.

A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in East Liverpool.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Williams Brown, at home. They were married June 29, 1990.

Also surviving are his children: Dorthy L. Brown, Brian J. Humphrey and his wife, Miranda, Ronald L. Brown, Jr., Carmen Brown, and Maurice Brown and his wife, Heather, of Pittsburgh, as well as a daughter-in-law, Sharon Brown.

There are ten grandchildren: Maurice L.J. Brown, Ambrianna Humphrey, Amari Brown, Mariah Brown, Alexis Hill, Miquel Moon, Jonae Moon, John Moon III, Brittany Russell, and Langston Brown. Ron also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Makenzie Thorower, Elijah Moon and Iyuanna Russell.

Additional survivors include four sisters, Kim Hatten, Ranell Hatten, Bonnie Hatten, all of Pittsburgh, and Tammi Lawrence of California, along with four brothers, Robert Hatten, Jr., Keith Lawrence, Joseph Lawrence and Todd Lawrence, all of Pittsburgh. Ron was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Brown, Gerald Brown and Bobby Brown.

Services will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Monday, with Pastor Andrew Monteiro, of the Greater Faith Community Worship Center in Industry.

Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 1:00 until the time of the service.

Family and friends will then gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
