JEFFREY L. SOUTHALL, 63

EAST LIVERPOOL – Retired East Liverpool City firefighter Jeffrey L. Southall of State Route 267, passed away at his home on Monday morning, November 14, 2016. He was 63.

Born June 22, 1953 in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Charles and Janice Stokes Southall.

A member of the IAFF Union Local #24 for over 35 years, Jeff was a member of the East Liverpool City Fire Department, having retired in March of 2016. Jeff had also been associated with Jeff Kreefer Construction for many years.

Jeff had a great love of the outdoors and he enjoyed fishing in Canada, hunting and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Surviving is his daughter, Elizabeth Southall of Wellsburg, WV, and the loves of his life, his two grandchildren, Emily Renee George and Samuel Alexander George.

Additional survivors include a sister, Carolyn Morris, and her husband Eric, of Gibsonia, PA, and a brother, Gregory S. Southall, of East Liverpool.

In addition to his parents Jeff was preceded by a sister, Anna Marie Southall, and a brother, William “Billy” Southall.

Friends may visit with the family at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Reverend Brenda L. Johnson of the Sheridan AME Church will officiate at services to be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Friday. Family and friends will then gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
