Ruth Ellen Ebaugh Orin, 95
EAST LIVERPOOL – Ruth Ellen Ebaugh Orin, of Calcutta, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the East Liverpool City Hospital. She was 95.
Born in Clinton County, Indiana, on May 15, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Homer C. and Blanche Fitzsimmons Ebaugh. She was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1938 and a member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association.
For many years she worked as an administrative assistant for the Sarasota International Corporation in Florida.
She is survived by a niece, Judy Pamintuan and her husband, Rodger, of Largo, Florida, and four nephews, John R. “Jack” Ebaugh and his wife, Mary, of Wadsworth, Ohio, James C. Ebaugh and his wife, Connie, of Spencer, Ohio, Michael D. Ebaugh of East Liverpool, and Christian M. Ebaugh and his wife, Helen, of Fern Park, Florida.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James M. Ebaugh and John F. Ebaugh.
Friends may visit Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 1 to 2 p.m. Rev. Norm Eckert will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Calcutta Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the: American Humane Society, 1400 16th Street NW, Suite 360, Washington, DC 20036.
