Obituary for Collin Garvey

WILLISTON, ND – Collin Garvey, of Williston, North Dakota, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away suddenly Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at his home. He was 60.

Born in East Liverpool, March 16, 1956, he was a son of Lloyd Kent and Marjorie “Margie” Dye Garvey of East Liverpool. He was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1974. He worked in the oil and gas industry as a Field Technician for Kinder Morgan.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Garvey, at home, as well as four daughters, Angela Galloway and her husband, Adam, and Carrie King and her husband, Patrick, Carrie Lawton and her husband, Jacob, and Elizabeth Jahn, and two sons, Jason Garvey and his wife, Amanda, and James Garvey and his fiancée, Kim.

He also is survived by 8 grandchildren, along with a sister, Candice Weir and her husband John, of Florida.

Friends may visit Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4 to 7 p.m. where Jason Garvey, son, will conduct a funeral service at 7:00 p.m.
