Condolence From: Cheryl Jones
Condolence: What a shock & loss for everyone who knew Collin! Paul & I were friends with he and Charlotte & their family for many, many years. Collin always brought his wonderful sense of humor to brighten our days, and after my husband's passing, called me to offer hope and assistance in my loss. He was much more than just a friend, and I will dearly miss him. I send my prayers to Charlotte, and his family and to his lovely parents Kent, and Margie.God Bless.

Condolence: I knew Collin from elementary school through high school. He always had an easy smile that had just a hint of fun mischief. Looking at his picture, it's nice to see that same smile remained through all the years. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.

Condolence: Collin was much more than a close friend he was more like family. We were so blessed to have him in our lives and we miss him so much already. He was a wonderful friend and co-worker. He was a loving father and grandfather and he longed for the special moments in life when families make memories together along with his wife Charlotte. He was always a joy to be around and he thrived on making others smile and laugh. He had a keen sense of humor and an incredible ability to make you smile. He loved helping others and he always saw the best in people even when they couldn’t see it themselves.
One of his greatest strengths was his humility. He put others first and he sought to lift them up and encourage them with no regard for himself. He was so talented in so many ways but especially in music. For those of us who got to hear him sing we know that his voice was mesmerizing and captivating. When he led worship with either his guitar or his keyboard you could feel God’s presence and knew that Collin was in tune with the spirit.
This was a man who lived his faith, sometimes in the words he spoke but more often in what he did. He was a living testament to the concept of sharing the gospel with everyone you meet and if necessary use words. His life was like a candle shining in the darkness bringing a glimmer of hope to all those around him.
We were so blessed to be part of his life and to share in his dreams and his disappointments. Knowing him has made us better and stronger and losing him now leaves us a bit bewildered. We will carry his torch and continue his ministry. We believe that he is in a better place now and that his joy has been made complete. We look forward to our reunion one day when we will surely see Collin leading the choirs of heaven and making all of God’s angels smile.
