LARRY LEON DAVIS, 71

EAST LIVERPOOL – Larry Leon Davis of North Shady Lane passed away at the age of 71 on Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness.

A son of the late Carlos Leon and Grace Louise George Davis, Larry was born on July 27, 1946 in New Martinsville,West Virginia.

Larry was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the US Army in Germany. Larry had been an over the road truck driver for Regal Trucking Co. at one time.

He will be missed by his wife Mary Ann Davis of East Liverpool, and his three daughters, Ginnie Lynn Davis, of Niles, Billie Jo O’Malley of Nashville, and Carrie Lee Davis of Warren. There are three grandchildren, Darla Davis, John N. Thompson, Jr., and Gideon O’Malley, and four great-grandchildren, Lanae Thompson, Ty’Jon Davis, Taliah Baker and Tiana Baker.

Larry leaves behind his sister Shirley Brown of East Liverpool, and his brother Jimmy A. Davis of Chester.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by three brothers, Stanley L. Davis, Bill Davis and Carlos “Butch” Davis.

The Dawson Funeral Home has been entrusted with Larry’s care.
