Condolence: It always made me happy to see Charlie at church. He was a kind greeter as kids tromped up the steps to youth group and loved to chat with us when we waited to be picked up. As the years went on, Charlie's voice was a warm welcome when I came to church while home for a visit. It was especially sweet to introduce my children to him. He wanted to know all about them. Charlie would nod and say, that's just wonderful! His wide grin and gentle ways will be missed. Rest in peace, Charlie.
