Obituary for James P. Conway

James P. Conway, 76

BEAVER, PA – James P. Conway, of Columbiana, formerly of Calcutta, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Heritage Valley Beaver. He was 76.

Born in East Liverpool, January 7, 1942, he was a son of the late Earl and Genevieve McGeehan Conway.

A decorated Vietnam Veteran, he service with the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969. He then worked at the former Crucible Steel Company. He was a member of the Midland Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed fishing and golfing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa M. LeFebvre Conway, on August 9, 2015. The couple married in 1975. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and John Conway.

Survivors include his son, Michael J. Conway and his wife, Lisa, of Salem, a sister, Mary McNeal and her husband, Bruce, of Chippewa, and a brother, Vincent Conway of Chippewa.

Arrangements have been completed and conducted by the Dawson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
