Dawson Team Members
Bev Ward joined the staff in 2007 and brings with her a great understanding of the Dawson philosophy. Her duties in the front office include but are not limited to receiving of guests, coordinating death certificate information, newspaper release details and assists in planning daily activities. In addition, she is most often the voice responding to all telephone calls. Jenny Dawson assists with other offices duties, including the distribution of death certificates as well as insurance related claim work processing.
Two key associates, who work across West Fifth Street at the Dawson Family Center, are Peggy Sheppard, administrative assistant to Jim Dunlap with the company’s award winning Pre-Arrangement Department, and Roberta Pennybaker. A former newspaper executive with some 35-years of business and public relations experience, Roberta serves in a variety of capacities, including that of special assistant to Frank Dawson and as member of the company’s Board of Directors.
Carl Covert heads an extensive staff of part-time employees, which include Bob Hammond, Will Montgomery, Norm Eckert, Ken Schneidmiller, Jim Shaw, Bill Williams, Lloyd Nalley, John Schmidbauer, Rick Steffen, Helen Marshall, Joe Ladzinske, Bria Williams, Tyler Barnhouse, Joe Hendricks, Ray Sullivan, and Jay Rife.
