Obituary for Jacqueline B McDowell (Wilcox)

Jacqueline B. McDowell, of Bentley Ave. in Newell, passed away with her family by her side at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at her home. She was 51.

Born in East Liverpool on November 28, 1964, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Judy Wilcox. Jackie had attended East Liverpool High School.

Jackie had previously worked at Foxcrest as an STNA for 20 years, and was most recently employed since 2012 by the Homer Laughlin China Company.

She is survived by her husband, Michael S. McDowell, whom she married on August 26, 2002.

Jackie is also survived by her two daughters, Angel Lake, of Salem, and Crystal Webber, and her husband Robert, of Negley; as well as her three sons, Larry Lake of Youngstown, Michael Lake of Boardman, and Daniel Lake of Columbus.

There are four granddaughters surviving, Alyssa and Annastasia Cadle, and Kyndra and Kinsley Lake, as well as two brothers, Alan Wilcox, and his wife Nancy, of Lisbon, and John Wilcox of East Liverpool.

In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by a sister Vickie Walker and a brother Robert Wilcox.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday.

Services will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, with Pastor Carolyn Hardy of the LaCroft Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will take place in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
