Condolence: I just learned of richard's passing from qst magazine (amateur radio). I met Richard back in the early ninety's while I was working for the nhra. I learned then that he was also a amateur radio operator. in 2013 I met up with him again at Dayton and we talked briefly on his racing and radios. last may on his way home from Dayton I was fortunate enough to talk to Richard here from Orlando florida.
