Obituary for Amy L. Cunningham (Akers)

Amy L. Cunningham, 80

POLAND, OHIO – Amy L. Cunningham, of Lisbon, passed away Friday evening, August 21, 2020, at the Hospice House following a brief illness. She was 80.

Born in Hellier, Kentucky, January 8, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Curtis and Mary Talbert Justice Akers. A resident of this area and Arizona, she worked as a screener for Electronic Circuits and Design in Sebring, Ohio.

She is survived by her son, James V. Cunningham of East Palestine, and a sister, Martha Jean “Jeanie” Blakely of Salem. There are two grandchildren: Jennifer Miller and Mark Cunningham and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Allen Cunningham, and a brother, John C. Akers.

Arrangements have been completed by the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, Phoenix, Arizona.
