Obituary for Andrea S. "Andie Hoffman" Hoffman (Hoffman)
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Andrea S. “Andie” Hoffman, 49, of East Liverpool passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Andrea was born in East Liverpool on May 23, 1972. She graduated as valedictorian from East Liverpool Christian School in 1990. She also graduated summa cum laude from Kent State in 1996 with a bachelor degree in education. Andrea worked as a dispatcher for the City of East Liverpool. She formerly worked as a dispatcher and E.M.T for Lifeteam as well as a dispatcher for Hancock County. Andrea loved spending time with her family and friends and vacationing at Myrtle Beach. Andrea loved the Easter tradition of challenging her family to complete different “Double Dare” challenges.
Andrea was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ralph A. and Grace E. (Smith) Hoffman; uncle Bob King; cousin John Hoffman; her first fur baby of 20 years Stormi J. and fur baby Kit Kat.
Left to cherish her memory are her mom Carolyn Hoffman; stepfather Winston Coburn; aunt Mary Lou King and her partner Donald McVay of Meridianville, AL; cousin David Hoffman of Tampa, FL; cousin Erin Paletta, her husband Tony and their children Drew and Jake of Morgantown, WV; best friend Donna Van Dyne of East Liverpool and her furry children, her cats, Callie, Libby, Molly and Boo.
Friends may visit Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Pastor Mark Blakeley of Wellsville First Christian Church will conduct a celebration of life Friday 4 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at the Hoffman Memorial Gardens.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the F.O.P. Lodge # 29 for fellowship.
