Obituary for Andrew Scott "BB" Hammon

Andrew Scott “BB” Hammon, Jr., 18

LISBON – Andrew Scott “BB” Hammon, of Lisbon, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019 after suddenly becoming ill. He was 18.

Born in Salem, August 1, 2001, he was a son of Tricia Holman Hammon and Andrew Scott Hammon, Sr. at home. A lifetime area resident, he was attending Robert Bycroft School. BB loved the water, whether he was swimming in a pool or sitting at the beach. He enjoyed family trips to Disney World and Myrtle Beach and loved watching football and his favorite movies, especially Ice Age.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Daniel Hammon and Joseph Hammon at home. He will also be fondly remembered by his maternal grandparents, Tom and Dreama Holman of Wellsville, his paternal grandmother, Chris Hammon of East Liverpool, his paternal grandfather, Dale Hammon and his wife, Dawn, of East Liverpool, and his paternal great-grandmother, Maxine Shreve of New Springfield.

He is also survived by two aunts, Ruth Ann Crisp and her husband, David, and Amber Hammon, along with two uncles, Tommy Holman and Joshua Hammon and his wife, Reyne, and six cousins: Brooklyn, Aiden, Desiree, Isabelle, Kenzie and Elliott. Also left to cherish BB’s memory is a close family friend Leslie Hanlon and her children Brittany and Cody.

Friends may visit Sunday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. Pastor William Anzevino will conduct a funeral service Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
