Obituary for Arnie E. Hauldren (Fletcher)

WEIRTON, WEST VIRGINIA – Arnie E. Hauldren, 94, of Weirton, WV formerly of East Liverpool passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Woodland Hills Assisted Living in Weirton, WV.

Arnie was born in Lincoln County, West Virginia a daughter of the late John J. and Adeline A. (Adkins) Fletcher. She worked as a salesclerk at D.M. Ogilvie’s for many years. Arnie was a member of Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church.

Preceding Arnie in death were her husband, whom she married in 1946, Paul Edwin Hauldren; eight sisters Leva Lake, Hazel VanAtter, Bessie Stowers, Sadie Wade, Eliza Fletcher, Opal Lenville, Mandy Stowers and Mary Belle Fletcher and four brothers Clifton, Joseph, Ewell and Woodrow Fletcher.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Richard “Ed” Hauldren and his wife Francine of Weirton, WV; three grandchildren Erica Sauer and her husband James of Weirton, WV, Spencer Hauldren and his wife Anna of Miami Beach, FL and Roxanne Hauldren Kudej and her husband Thomas of New York, NY; three great grandchildren Sabrina, James and Lana Sauer all of Weirton, WV and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rev. William Stout of Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church will conduct a service at the Funeral Home Thursday at 1 p.m. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park. In compliance with Ohio state regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Woodland Hills Assisted Living for the exceptional care Arnie received.
