Obituary for Barbara Hunt
Barbara A. Hunt, 70
EAST LIVERPOOL – Barbara A. Hunt, of East Liverpool, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the Orchards of East Liverpool. She was 70.
Born in East Liverpool, September 12, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Gladys Cain Morehead. An area resident all her life, she had attended Northside Community Church at one time.
She is survived by her children: a daughter, Tracy Hull of Columbus, and two sons, Donald James “Donny” Hunt and his wife, Jan, of East Liverpool, and Clyde Edward “Eddie” Hunt of East Liverpool, as well as nine grandchildren: James Lonkert, Brianna Hunt, Kaycie Joy, Keirsten Joy, Rachel Hunt, Hailee Joy, Zack Madison, Sheldon Hunt, and Noah Hull, and ten great-grandchildren, and her companion, Hugh Springer.
She is also survived by two sisters, Terry Mayfield of East Liverpool, and Sue Volino and her husband, Paul, of Wellsville, and three brothers, Ed Morehead of East Liverpool, Gary Morehead of Lordstown, and Kenny Morehead of Rogers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by two sisters, Linda K. Halfhill and Ethel Betteridge, and a brother, James Morehead.
Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home where friends and family will visit from 2:00 until the time of the service. Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
Burial will be at Calcutta Cemetery.
