Obituary for Betsy Miller
East Liverpool, Ohio- Betsy F. Crable Miller, 81, of Eagle Drive passed away Friday, July 29th, 2022 at 7:14 p.m. in Beaver, Pennsylvania following a lengthy illness.
Born May 5th, 1941 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Richard R. Crable and the late Frances Callan Crable Sutter. A lifetime area resident, she was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1959. After graduation from high school, Betsy attended Kent State University then Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a former member of the East Liverpool City Council and the city’s planning commission. She was very active in this area’s community with various service organizations.
Betsy is survived by her husband, William L. Miller, whom she married September 5th, 1964 of Chester, West Virginia. There are two sons, Michael Miller and his wife, Danielle of Gilbert, Arizona, and Mark Miller and his wife, Kim of Columbus, Ohio.
In addition, she leaves behind four grandchildren, Alec Miller, Benji Miller, Josh Miller and his wife, Leticia, and Darby Miller.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Jason Miller and one brother, Richard F. Crable.
Friends may visit the family on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Susan Pickering will officiate a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
