Obituary for Billy Eugene Jobe
East Liverpool, Ohio- Billy Eugene Jobe, 86, formerly of Sprucevale Road passed away Monday, March 20th, 2023 at 5:46 a.m. at the Crossroads following a lengthy illness.
Born January 23rd, 1937 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Laburn Leo and Hazel Boggs Jobe.
He spent most of his lifetime in this area working for 15 years at Airco as a welding wire maker. He then worked in maintenance at Homer Laughlin China. At one time he was a groomer at the former Waterford Park Racetrack. A graduate of Wellsville High Scholl Class of 1955, he attended the Central Methodist Church in Wellsville.
Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Buck and her husband Craig, Billie Stoica and her husband, Michael and Tracey Singh and her husband, Dr. Pammy; and one son, Tim Jobe and his wife, Tara.
There are nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
In addition, he is survived by three sisters, Pam Mosley, Fanny Smith and Margaret Osburne and her husband, Dan; and one brother, Charles Jobe.
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Robin Neff; his step-mother, Frances Malone; one sister, Doris Kothman; and three brothers, James Leo Jobe, Jack Jobe, and Thomas Malone.
Private Family services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home with Pastor Kim Gadd of the House of Prayer officiating.
