Obituary for Buddy R. Kimble

NEW CUMBERLAND, WEST VIRGINIA – Buddy R. Kimble, 59, of New Cumberland passed away suddenly Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Buddy was born in Waynesburg, PA on October 18, 1960 a son of the late Jack N. and Mildred I. “Pat” (Lemmons) Kimble. He was a graduate of Oak Glen High School. Buddy was a veteran of the US Army where served as a combat engineer in the 101st Airborne Division in Germany. He was a former member of the American Legion and a former volunteer fireman at New Cumberland VFD and New Manchester VFD. Buddy worked as a security supervisor for Securitas at First Energy nuclear power plant in Shippingport. He was a loving husband, devoted father and a proud pap.

Preceding Buddy in death were two infant brothers Robert Neil and Bernard Russell Kimble.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, whom he married January 26, 1979, Bonnie L. (Perkins) Kimble; two daughters Tonya L. Kimble and her husband Harry Parrish of Steubenville, OH and Tiffany Markle and her husband Rich of Chester; son Todd E. Kimble and his companion Kasey Hines of New Cumberland; six grandchildren Connor Morgan, Richee Markle, Noah Wright, Madalyn Markle, Bryce Parrish and Airi Parrish; two sisters Bobbie Chapman and her husband Herb of New Cumberland and Billie Jo Little of Lisbon and brother Thomas E. “Butch” Kimble and his wife Amy of Chester.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Friday where the family will be present from 3 to 8 p.m. where Pastor Norm Eckert will conduct a funeral service on Saturday at 12 p.m. Tri State Veterans Burial Group will provide military honors following the service. Burial at New Cumberland Cemetery.

In compliance with Ohio State regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus we ask that you remember to keep social distancing of 6 feet and wear a mask when visiting with the family.

Following the service, friends and family will gather at the New Manchester Volunteer Fire Department for fellowship.
