Obituary for Calvin Zanders
CLEVLAND, OHIO – Calvin Zanders, 62, of Cleveland formerly of East Liverpool passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at his home.
Calvin was born in East Liverpool on August 13, 1957 a son of the late Lushious and Eula Bess Zanders.
Calvin worked as a construction worker in Washington D.C. and also as a truck driver. He also worked for Huntley Security at the Pittsburgh Airport.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Shalonda Respress of East Liverpool; three sisters Doris Jones Zanders of East Liverpool, Norma Jean Johnson and her husband Asbury of Euclid, OH and Bernice Zanders and her husband Melvin Butler of Maryland; two brothers Marvin Zanders of Maryland and Eddie Lewis Zanders of South Carolina; many nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended Zanders family.
Friends may visit Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Rev. Asbury Johnson will conduct a funeral service Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the family c/o Dawson Funeral Home.
