CARLOS “BUTCH” W. DAVIS, 67

SALEM – Carlos “Butch” W. Davis passed away at the age of 67 on Wednesday morning, May 10, 2017 at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, Ohio.

A son of the late Carlos Leon and Grace Louise George Davis, Carlos was born on February 10, 1950 in East Liverpool. He was a proud 1968 graduate of East Liverpool High School, was a lifetime member of the Potters Club and the Orioles Club, and a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

From 1985 to 1995 he was the top award winning salesman for the Crippen Oldsmobile Dealership in Miami, FL. “Butch” had also worked at the former Crucible Steel plant in Midland at one time.

He will be missed by his daughters, Melissa Saab of Upland, CA, Teena Libe of Rochester, PA, Cynthia Davis of East Liverpool, and Carlana Jane Davis, also of East Liverpool, as well as his six grandchildren, Zachary Davis, and his wife Sarah, of East Liverpool, Marissa Wilson, and her husband Cap, of Hopewell, PA, Breanna and Shealyn Shreve, both of East Liverpool, and Khalid and Grace Saab, both of Upland, CA. There are also six great-grandchildren surviving, Brenden, Ethan, Rylie, Tristan, Brodie and Isaac.

Carlos leaves behind his sister as well: Shirley Brown of East Liverpool, and his two brothers, Larry Davis of East Liverpool, and Jimmy A. Davis of Chester.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by two brothers, Stanley L. Davis and Bill Davis.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Saturday, June 3rd, where the family will be present from 2 to 3 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Ave. Church of Christ will conduct a memorial service at 3 p.m. on Saturday June 3rd at the funeral home.
