Carol A. Leslie, 86
LISBON – Carol A. Leslie, of Lisbon, passed away Sunday morning, March 19, 2023. She was 86.
Born in Lisbon, April 28, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Laura Abrams Bretz. A member of the David Anderson High School Class of 1954, she was a lifetime area resident. In 1964, she started Leslie Farm Meats which continues to this day. She was a member of Lisbon Club and loved to read, garden and can food for the winter. She loved nature, especially birds and cats, along with taking hikes in the woods. Above all things in life, she was a devoted mother to her children, a loving grandmother, and a dear friend to many.
She is survived by two children: a daughter, Amy Frampton and her husband, Todd, and a son, Tim Leslie, both of Lisbon, as well as six grandchildren: Seth Frampton (Angelica), Laine Frampton, Eric Leslie (Sandy), Kevin Leslie (Gina), Todd Leslie (Tracey) and Drew Leslie (Sara) and six great-grandchildren: Anna, Sara, Mason, Allyson, Emery and Grant, as well as a special “grandson” Luke Neville (Katie).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gayle Rock, and a brother, Phillip Bretz.
Private family services will be conducted at a later date. The Dawson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
