Obituary for Carolyn A. Mackey (Wells)
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Carolyn A. Mackey, 72, of East Liverpool passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Carolyn was born in East Liverpool on September 19, 1949 a daughter of the late Charles Bernard and Doris H. (Hague) Wells. She was a former member of the Jayceettes. Carolyn worked in the payroll department at Marsh Bellofram. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Carolyn loved to do crafts and was a wonderful cook.
Preceding Carolyn in death was her brother Ronald Wells.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 55 years, whom she married April 7, 1967, Donald C. Mackey, Jr.; two sons Kevin Mackey, Sr. and his wife Susan of Wellsville and Donald Mackey III and his wife Michelle of Lisbon; four grandchildren Kevin Mackey II and his companion Megan of East Liverpool, Ayrrianne Mackey and her companion Michael of East Liverpool, Joshua Mackey of Lisbon and Andrew Mackey of Wellsville; two great grandchildren Anastasia Pirie and Kamryn Mackey; brother-in-law Michael Mackey of East Liverpool and two sisters-in-law Deborah Stewart of East Liverpool and Marianne Wells of East Liverpool.
Friends may visit Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The Rev. J. Jeffrey Baker will conduct a funeral service Friday 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Immediately following the service, a time of fellowship will be held at the Dawson Family Center.
