Charles Wilford Padgett, 73
EAST LIVERPOOL – Charles Wilford Padgett, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at his home. He was 73.
Born in East Liverpool, August 12, 1946, he was a son of the late Wilford Charles and Ellen Nora Barrett Padgett. He was a career educator having served as a teacher and administrator for the East Liverpool City School District for 30 years.
A lifetime area resident, he was a graduate of the Class of 1964 at East Liverpool High School, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Geneva College with the Class of 1968 and his Master’s degree in 1971 from Youngstown State University. He also held membership in various professional, service and social organizations.
He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
A funeral service was conducted Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Dawson Funeral Home.
Burial was at Spring Grove Cemetery.
