Obituary for Claudia Lyn Mercer (Williams)
SALEM, OHIO – Claudia Lyn Mercer, of Wellsville, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Salem Regional Medical Center. She was 71.
Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, October 20, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Betty Schook Williams. A resident of this area most of her life, for over 30 years she worked as a teacher’s aide at the Robert Bycroft School.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Mercer, at home. The couple married in 1966. There are two daughters, Tishma Bosworth and her husband, Chris, of East Liverpool, and Wendy Spats and her husband, Bob, of Salem. Also left to cherish her memory are three grandchildren: Samantha, Bobby and Owen.
Burial will take place at a later date at Columbiana County Memorial Park. The Dawson Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
