Obituary for David M. Albaneso

EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – David M. “Dave” Albaneso, 65, of Wellsville passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

David was born in East Liverpool on January 9, 1955 a son of the late Joseph “Wee Wee” and Marie Jean (Freeman) Albaneso, Sr. He was a local businessman that owned and operated Albaneso Auto Body, DMA Construction and Dave and Deb’s Bar on Lisbon Street. David was a member of Wellsville Eagles, Wellsville Elks and East Liverpool Moose Lodge. He was a selfless, kind and compassionate person who touched the lives of a lot of people. David organized a yearly local fundraiser FOP 29 Cops and Kids Poker Run in memory of his daughter Shelby Talbott. He was also very passionate about riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Preceding David in death were his daughter Shelby Talbott and two brothers Anthony Albaneso and Joseph Albaneso, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, whom he married March 19, 1976, Deborah (Shreve) Albaneso; two grandsons David Talbott of Wellsville and Zachary Talbott of Columbus; granddaughter Morgan Talbott of Wellsville; great granddaughter Shelby Mae Talbott; sister Margueriteia Albaneso of Wellsville; adopted son William Reynolds of East Liverpool and his son Ryker David Reynolds who called Dave pappy and his dog Scrappy.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Monday where the family will be present from 3 to 7 p.m. Pastor Mark Blakeley of Wellsville First Christian Church will conduct a funeral service Tuesday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park. In compliance with Ohio state regulations with concerns of the COVID-19 virus masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home.
