Obituary for Dale Moore
NEGLEY, OH – David Dale Moore, of Negley, passed away Tuesday evening, October 22, 2019 at Trinity West Hospital. He was 75.
Born in Steubenville, September 1, 1944, he was a son of the late Marcus and Mildred George Moore. For 42 years, he had worked for First Energy and its associated companies until his retirement in 2004.
A member of the Wintersville High School Class of 1962, Dale was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of Steubenville Rifle and Pistol, Coon Hunters Club in Calcutta, Salem Gun Club, American Legion in East Palestine, the NRA, and the Classic Glass Corvette Club.
His wife, Sandra Swisher Moore, survives at home. The couple married September 30, 1966. He is also survived by a daughter, Denise Moore Baldauf and her husband, John, of Charleston, South Carolina and a son, Rodney Moore of Charlotte, North Carolina. There are four granddaughters: Ashley, Madison, Vivian and Vanessa.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard Moore.
Friends may visit Friday evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Doug George, cousin, will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
