Obituary for David M. Tarbuck

David M. Tarbuck, 74

SALEM – David M. Tarbuck, of Salem, passed away Wednesday evening, July 3, 2019 at the Essex of Salem following a lengthy illness. He was 74.

Born in Salem, December 1, 1944, he was a son of the late Peter and Mary Margaret Tarbuck. Dave worked as a security guard for Allguard Security at American Standard and later worked at the Bruce Mansfield Power Plant. A member of Longs Run Trinity Presbyterian Church, he was a deacon at one time. He was an East Liverpool High School graduate in the Class of 1963 and a member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy J. “Dotty” Tarbuck, in 2014. The couple married October 13, 1990. A step-son survives, Stephen Young of Wellsville, and three step-grandchildren: Tabitha Lee, Savannah Grace and Stevie Nevaeh Young. He also is survived by a brother, Robert L. Tarbuck and his wife, Paige, of Apex, North Carolina.

A graveside service will be conducted at Columbiana County Memorial Park at a later date.
