East Liverpool, Ohio- Debra Ann Schmidbauer, 63, of Springview Road passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at 2:12 a.m. at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania following a lengthy illness.

Born August 18, 1957 in Chester, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Harold Brown and of Sally Davidson Brown of East Liverpool.

A lifetime area resident, she was a retired secretary from the East Liverpool Water Department. Prior to that she had worked at the former First National Community Bank and as a waitress for several local restaurants. She was a graduate of Oak Glen High School and of the Ohio Valley Business College.

She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Schmidbauer, whom she married April 26, 1980, at home. In addition, she leaves behind two daughters, Sherri George and her husband, Andrew of Denver, Colorado and Marci Gibson and her husband, Ernie of Durham, North Carolina; and one son, Bernie Schmidbauer and his wife, Sylvia of Mill Valley, California. There are three grandchildren.

She is also survived by one sister, Lisa Watson; one brother, Chuck Brown; and by her two dogs, Moly & Maddy.

According to Debra’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.

Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
