Edith Trainer Morlino

I was saddened to hear of Dennie's death. I always thought that she was one of the loveliest & most poised & talented members of our class. She had a wonderful way about her. I remember that Miss Zimmerman named her the "best" choir student of 1961. The criteria that Miss Z used was talent, but also everything that defined an outstanding character. Whenever I hear "Harbour Lights" & "To Know Him is to Love Him," I think of Dennie & the many times we practiced at her home. She was the one who carried the rest of us. We had such fun as the Toy Tigers. I am donating to The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation in Dennie's memory. You should receive a notice from them, soon. I am so sorry that I will miss the funeral. My sisters & I have planned a vacation together & I am in Florida at this time. Dennie will be in my prayers, now and always.
