Obituary for Donald Harold "Don" Cline
East Liverpool, Ohio- Donald Harold Cline, 88, formerly of Inez Avenue passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at The Orchards of East Liverpool following a lengthy illness.
Born August 4, 1932, he was a son of the late Clarence F. and Jessie Pugh Cline. A lifetime area resident, he retired from the former Crucible Steel Company in Midland, Pennsylvania in 1982. He then became the pastor at the former Church of God on Grant Street. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna J. Ward Cline, whom he married August 12, 1960, on January 15, 2019.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Haustman of East Liverpool, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Megan Haustman and Kyle Haustman.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy McHenry, Ethel Johnson and Helen Cline; and one brother, Edward W. Cline.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool, Ohio. Pastor Mike Rogers of Mansfield, Ohio will officiate a service at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will provide full military honors.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
