Obituary for Donna Coleman Cain
EAST LIVERPOOL, OHIO – Donna Coleman Cain, 87, of East Liverpool passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Donna was born in East Liverpool on September 6, 1935 a daughter of the late Clair H. and Margaret (Davis) Coleman. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1953 and was very active as an alumnus serving as treasurer for her graduating class. Donna worked at 1st National Bank in East Liverpool, O’Hara Law Office in Wellsville, Lisbon Hoist and East Liverpool City Hospital in central supply. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Donna was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends . Donna really enjoyed going to the many events her grandchildren were involved in and was their best cheerleader. She enjoyed gardening.
Preceding Donna in death was her husband Donald E. Cain; three sisters Linda Hall, Peggy Amsden and Janet O’Hanlon and brother Robert C. Coleman
Left to cherish her memory are three daughters Darlene S. Kinsey and her companion George Green, Linda Thayer and her husband Bob and Cathy Raber and her husband Don; eight grandchildren Ted Kinsey and his wife Jill, Jessica Kinsey, Andrea Krushinski and her husband Brad, Robert Thayer and his wife Rebecca, Rachel Thayer, Kimberly M. Raber, Derek E. Raber and Nathaniel T.C. Raber; sixteen great grandchildren with one on the way; two brothers David Coleman and his wife Merry and Gary Coleman and his wife Dale and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much including Marcy Mattison.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Tuesday where the family will be present from 4 to 8 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert of Beechwood Free Methodist Church will conduct a service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial at Riverview Cemetery.
